REWAG Regensburger Energie- und Wasserversorgung AG & Co KG is a regional energy and drinking water supplier that supplies electricity, natural gas, heat and drinking water to around 200,000 private households and business customers.

REWAG was founded in 1976 and currently has 560 employees who ensure a comfortable and reliable supply of energy and drinking water in Regensburg and the region.

REWAG is the high-performance supplier. We secure large parts of our city's infrastructure with our supply networks. Our self-image is reflected in the change from a pure energy supplier to an ecologically oriented energy service provider, the expansion of generation plants for renewable energies, the systematic reduction of CO2, the expansion of the climate-neutral charging infrastructure for electric cars or the active protection of drinking water.

As a majority municipal company, we ensure that the company's value creation benefits the region: on the one hand, we are an attractive employer for 560 people, and on the other hand, we support business partners with a wide variety of orders, most of which come from the local economy.
